Writing from the address on your account, and saying which device you were using, gets you a useful answer faster than anything else.

Your subscription

Where you subscribed decides who takes the payment and where you cancel. We cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you — Apple does not allow it.

Subscribed in the iPhone app

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Bilancio Money. Cancel, change plan or ask Apple for a refund from there.

Subscribed on the website

Sign in, open Banks, and use the subscription panel to change your card, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel.

What it costs

14 days free, starting when you connect your first account — not when you sign up — with up to two bank connections during the trial. After that, $4.99 a month, or $47.90 for a year. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Banks and choose Delete account at the bottom. On iPhone that is under More, then Banks.

Deleting is immediate and cannot be undone. It disconnects every bank at Plaid, erases your transactions, categories, rules and budgets, and removes your sign-in. Nothing is kept.

If you subscribed through Apple, cancel in Settings as well. Deleting your account here does not cancel a subscription Apple is billing.

To disconnect one bank but keep your account, use Banks and remove that connection. Its accounts and transactions go with it; your categories and rules stay.

Common problems

A bank connection stopped updating

Banks expire connections periodically, and some ask you to re-authorise every few months. Open Banks; a connection needing attention says so, and reconnecting takes a minute. Your history stays where it is.

A transaction is in the wrong category

Open the transaction and change it. If it is a merchant you see often, choose to apply it to that merchant and every past and future transaction from them follows. One purchase can also be split across categories.

Balances or transactions look out of date

Figures are as of the last sync with your bank, not this instant, and pending transactions change amount or disappear entirely. Your bank's own records are always the authoritative ones.

A budget figure looks wrong

Open the subcategory in Budgeting and it shows its working: the merchants counted, what they charge, and what was set aside as a one-off. Type over any figure to set your own, and the original stays there so you can go back to it.

Budget alerts are not arriving

Alerts are opt-in per subcategory. On iPhone, open More, then Budget alerts, and choose the ones you want. Notifications also have to be allowed for Bilancio in iPhone Settings.

Sign-in trouble

Use the same method you signed up with. If you cannot get in, write to support from the address on the account and we will sort it out.

What Bilancio can and cannot do

You can review and revoke every connection you have ever made through Plaid, to anyone, at Plaid Portal.

Requesting your data, or a correction
